Our last stop in Pakistan was to the Punjabi city Lahore. This city was a vibrant tapestry full of culture, food, heat, history, spirituality, chaos, traffic, shopping, cricket, and music. I’ve never seen a million things move at once so haphazardly yet ironically so smoothly. Four days wasn’t enough and four lifetimes probably isn’t either. This pic above is in honor of our beloved Pakistani Shalimar in San Francisco. Hoping for a return.
