The girl sitting on the left and the guy next to her bought camels in Eritrea and rode them south into Ethiopia. We heard about these people and finally ran into them here, in Malawi; that’s how tight the Africa overland scene is. You would just keep running into people you heard about, and then you’d run into each other again further south or west.
