Brian at the Gate of Heavenly Peace, Tiān’ānmén Square, Běijīng China — November 2004

The one oddity about this picture is that the hordes of people always walking around this gate are missing. No, I am not a VIP, but I did manage to get this shot at 5:00 PM closing after the guards shooed everyone away. They didn’t get to me yet, but moments after the shutter clicked, I was harassed and told to leave immediately as well.
